ECVP

In 2024 the European Conference on Visual Perception will take place in Mainz, German from Sunday August the 24th to Thursday August the 28th

European Conference on Visual Perception

The European Conference on Visual Perception (ECVP) is an annual meeting devoted to scientific study of human visual perception. ECVP has been held each year since 1978, and attracts a wide variety of participants from such fields as Psychology, Neuroscience and Cognitive Science. To encourage the widest possible participation, particularly among students, the meeting is held in a different European location each year.

Information about the satellite conference Visual Science of Art Conference (VSAC) can be found at vsac.eu

Future Meetings

The next meeting organized by Christoph von Castell, Heiko Hecht, and Günter Meinhardt will be held in 2025 in Mainz, Germany from Sunday August the 24th to Thursday August the 28th.

Venues for future ECVP meetings are decided by those present at the business meeting. By tradition, a venue is selected two years in advance. Proposals for three years hence are also welcome, but not required, and are not decided upon at that time. If you are a potential future organizer, you may find the Organizers' User Manual useful.
